Results 2010

Having successfully qualified at the South Eastern Region Fun Day held at Felbridge in May, Charlotte and Chloe both attended the National Championships at Hartpury in July. Charlotte had a lot of fun in a big field, particularly as naughty Digger spooked at all the flags, but she stayed in the saddle and earned a very respectable 75%.

Chloe also had a great day and came home clutching two firsts and a fifth.

Our Musical Ride entry this year, practised and performed by the 'B' Group to Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" with a theme of reflected moves, despite being superbly filmed only made it to 4th place.

Special Olympics GB

July 2009 - two of our young riders qualified for entry to the Special Olympics, which take place every four years. Along with a small team of volunteers Megan and Emily made the journey to Leicest er for a week-long stay. The results speak volumes with 3 golds, 2 silvers and a 4th place to celebrate

Emily & Megan show off their medals

Megan had a clean sweep of Gold Medals at C2 level! Emily at C1 level, riding independently, achieved a marvellous haul of two silver medals against very tough competition.

Overall at C level Emily came 3rd and Megan 7th with total scores of 217 and 211.33 respectively

It was a wonderful, all round experience for both riders—keen competition by day and disco and karaoke in the evening!

They have visibly grown in confidence and self esteem through this experience.
